Mechanical and aeronautical engineer with decades of race-car development, including Super Vees, F5000/Can-Am, Trans-Am, NASCAR and NHRA cars. Initially worked on Chrysler’s Space Division Saturn rocket program, then Ford and Kar Kraft, including the LeMans-winning Ford GT MK IV. Later designed Coyote Indy cars for A.J. Foyt, including Foyt’s fourth-time winner. . Formed Riley Technologies with his son Bill in Mooresville, NC, in ’01. Consultant for Hendricks Motorsports, Robert Yates Racing, and Richard Childress Racing. Has done extensive work on the design and development of both Daytona Prototype and GRAND-AM cars, and safety rescue vehicles for CART.
