One big challenge young drivers face as they move up the ranks is learning to work with a team. The further up you move, the bigger the team – and the more important communication skills become.
In our latest video we take a look at one of the more diverse teams in racing – the Castrol Honda World Touring Car Team, a Japanese team run by an Italian outfit, with drivers from three different countries.
We discover how drivers and team members from many different backgrounds work together towards a common goal: winning.
Take a look at this video, and see just how this unique racing outfit gels together, and overcomes its challenges.
Additionally, Honda WTCC driver Tiago Monteiro is the latest Ask a Pro for SAFEisFast.com. The Portuguese driver raced in Formula 1 in 2005-06, before moving to the World Touring Car Championship in 2007. Since then, he has taken 11 victories, and is currently leading the drivers’ point standings in this year’s championship.

The restaurant will provide us with a free private room if our orders total $500. We believe this will not be a problem, so we will need a head count as soon as possible. Please let Don Knowles know by Aug. 15 if you are coming and how many there will be in your party.
The RRDC Mark Donohue Award will be voted on at the end of the Runoffs week, and our Runoffs leader Don Knowles will keep you informed as to how and when the voting will take place.
