Renaldo “Dindo” Capello

Longtime Audi team driver, Capello has scored three victories for the marque in the 24 Hours of LeMans…’03, ’04 and ’08, all co-driving with Kristensen plus Guy Smith, Sieji Ara and McNish respectively. Capello’s five Sebring 12-Hour victories are second only to Kristensen’s six. Also Capello has scored a record five Petite LeMans wins. Starting in karts at age 12, he moved to single-seaters at 19 with much success: Italian F3 champ in ’85, •’86, •87 and ’88. He then tackled tin-tops and was Italian Touring Car champ in ’90, ’92 and ’93 and Super Touring Car champ in •96. Dindo retired from prototypes after winning Sebring in 2012.
