OLIVER ASKEW’S SAFEisFAST INSTAGRAM TAKEOVER
Having recently launched our Instagram channel, SAFEisFAST is excited to announce that Mazda Road to Indy racer Oliver Askew will be the first driver to do an Instagram takeover, giving exclusive insight into pre-season testing.
He’ll be posting stories and behind-the-scenes photos from the Pro Mazda Series test at Barber Motorsports Park this weekend (3-4 March).

This 1936 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic, co-owned by the Mullin Automotive Museum and Rob and Melani Walton, was named winner of the “Peninsula Best of the Best Award” on Feb. 8 at the Paris Peninsula Hotel. The Bugatti won out over seven other Best in Show winners from 2017’s most prestigious international Concours to be named the most exceptional motor car in the world. Among the finalists were the 1939 Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B Spider from Bill Warner’s Amelia Island Concours and the 1929 Mercedes-Benz S Roadster, Best in Show at Pebble Beach. Peter Brock was one of the 24 judges.
Newgarden on Ice – Team Penske has fielded an entry in the Supercar Lites division of this year’s RallyX series in northern Europe. Josef Newgrden recounts his rollicking experience on Racer.com.
