GURNEY TO BE HONORED IN HEART ASSOCIATION WALK
All-American Racers vice president Kathy Weida has participated in the American Heart Association’s Heart Walk every year since 2011, the year Dan Gurney suffered a heart attack. “I walked for him,” said Weida. “Sadly, he passed away January 14, 2018 due to complications of pneumonia, so now I walk in his memory. “Please join me Saturday morning, March 24th at Angel Stadium in Anaheim for some fun and exercise while supporting this great cause. Together we can help reduce death and disability from cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
“Hope to see you there, please consider making a donation today.”
It’s fun and good exercise for the whole family. Strollers and pets welcome. (5K Run starts at 7:30am, Walk at 9:00am.)
All American Racers and Arciero Racing will have a few of Dan’s race cars on display – supporting our theme: “RACING INTO A FUTURE FREE OF HEART DISEASE & STROKE.”
