Growing up in a family dedicated to sports car racing, Chris spent most of his youth at race tracks throughout the Midwest supporting SCCA, IMSA, and CART/IndyCar events.  He started racing at the age of 18 with his family, competing in Regional SCCA races. 

Chris has been a consistent competitor for three decades, earning 3 SCCA National Championships, 6 podiums, and five poles from 10 Runoffs starts.  Chris was awarded the Jim Kimberly Award for the most improved driver in 2007 after his first National Championship.

Off track, Chris has built a career in motorsports including serving as a live event promoter for the largest motorsports events in North America, creating the first injection molded FHR device, the HANS Sport for Hubbard-Downing Inc, and as an executive at WELD Racing managing iconic brands including WELD and MOMO. 

Currently, Chris is Managing Partner of Hart Marx Advisors, a boutique M&A advisory firm that specializes in automotive aftermarket and motorsports businesses.
